Thanks to David I now have another computer that I can dedicate to the use of my music programs.Not having to connect midi interface,synth,keyboards,sound each time is a big incentive to do some recording!

Broadband

What a wonderful feeling:at last I have confirmation(and proof in the experience)by both co's involved,that my new Broadband deal is in effect-YIPPEEE.

George Melly

The passing of George last week was sad.Although he was by no means the best jazz singer,he was a GREAT showman and was always so full of fun!His death gives me the excuse to post this song by Billie Holiday(I believe,made on her last ever session),which George requested to be played at his funeral!

Withdrawal

Now that Wimbledon has finished(What a joy to watch Murray&Jankovic enjoying themselves so much,and still going on to win)I really DO have sport withdrawal symtoms.So,until the Twenty/20 1/4 finals get going.I will have to catch up on my music projects,otherwise I will feel as guilty as hell!

Took advantage of the first dry day for yonks and cut the hedge(for which my body will surely know about tomorrow).
Then I decided to dust down my TopHat before the Queen arrived in the procession at ASCOT--ain't she lucky not to need a brolly after the weather we've been having?
AND to top it all now,England have just beat the West Indies in the final TEST!

I am getting so frustrated-I've been trying to upgrade to a NEW free-line/free-call Broadband deal,but each time I get in touch with them ,am told it will be SORTED in 72 hours,and it never is!!----AAAAaaaagggghhhhh!
