Have you ever had a dream that came true?

Definitely! My parents had bought a white German shepherd dog,and being 60 miles away I thought I would visit to see it.Anyway, the night before the planned trip I had this awful dream that the dog had died;I forgot about the dream until I was walking up the garden path, and THEN I knew it was true!

In 1959 I played piano in a student orchestra run by a pro musician who also did arrangements for a 16 piece band on the Mecca circuit.Anyway,he found out that this band needed a pianist,so he put me forward for an audition, which entailed doing a whole evening's gig with the band.A week later I started on a professional music career, and learned much from one or two musicians in that band, during the 18months I was there;I then did my first summer season in Jersey(channel isles).
We are blessed this year with coverage from CBS on the BBC website of the 3 holes at 'Amen Corner'.
Tiger seems to be struggling, but I hope our kid,Rose, can keep up the good work when he tees off in a few minutes!
New to me,are 'Cleanskin' wines(only a certain amount of wine can be sold under certain Names,so the rest is sold off as a Cleanskin,or just a basic label).Having just sampled the first bottle of an Australian cleanskin case(70%Chardonnay,30%Semillon),I am impressed! This case cost £59.99,but is definitely the quality of a wine that would cost£100 or more!
CHEERS!
